Dave retired as a forensic evidence photographer for a large law enforcement agency. He then turned his camera toward a more pleasurable subject and now photographs nudes. He works in 8x10, 4x5, 35mm film and digital, using the backdrops that nature provides.
Dave taught photography classes for 18 years to law enforcement agencies in the mid-west; worked with Kodak Photography School and the Dept. of Justice training programs. During his free time he teaches photography for community education programs.
In the winter months Dave will hole up in his studio, checking for his shadow on a regular basis.
